"Salty Goddesses" is a series of linocut prints that explores the divine in humans and the human in goddesses. The title plays on the double meaning of the word “salty” — evoking both the sea and ancient Greek mythology, as well as its more modern connotation of sharpness, moodiness, or defiance. In everyday imagination, goddesses are often seen as flawless, idealized beings. Yet classical myths tell a different story: mythological goddesses are complex, passionate, and sometimes even flawed. Their divine nature does not exclude desire, rage, jealousy, or pride — instead, it embraces the full spectrum of being. Through this project, I reflect on the contradictions within us — how imperfection does not tarnish, but rather enriches, our essence. "Salty Goddesses" celebrates the multifaceted nature of femininity, where strength coexists with vulnerability, and sacredness lives alongside the earthly.

“Thighs & Thoughts” is a series of linocuts created in the process of exploring my bodily anxiety. I dedicated it to the thighs — a part of the body where this anxiety gathered. The initial impulse came from buying a pair of tight cycling shorts, something I hadn’t worn since childhood because of a long-standing rejection of that part of my body. At some point, it felt like my thighs were a kind of protruding display of everything I disliked about myself. Realizing they had become the center of my self-hatred, I began to process this through making. When I finally put on those bright, body-hugging shorts — the kind that openly demand attention — I felt something close to freedom. "Thighs&Thoughts" is my attempt to hold on to that feeling and give it form.
